Paul D. Bronson Jr, 92, of Minneapolis, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 18th at Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde, KS.
Paul was born December 28, 1920 in Minneapolis, KS and was the son of Paul Sr and Elizabeth (Washburn) Bronson.
Paul was raised in the Culver and Minneapolis communities and graduated from Minneapolis High School. Pal served in the Army Air Corps during WWII, and following the war married Shirley Turner. During this time, he served as the Ottawa County Sheriff.
He returned to the service in the US Air Force during the Vietnam war as a air craft and missile maintenance technician, before retiring in 1975.
Paul went on to work for El Dorado Trailer in Minneapolis, Hutchinson-Mayrath in Clay Center, and the Miltonvale Lumber Yard. He was a member of the Lions Club and Masonic Lodge, both of Minneapolis and the Clay Center American Legion.
Paul is preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Wife: Shirley Bronson, Miltonvale, KS
Son: Dana and wife Sherie Bronson, Abilene, KS
Daughter: Karla Nelson, Manhattan, KS
Sisters: Norma Baker, Minneapolis, KS and Phyllis Good, Napa, CA
Grandchildren: 7 grand and 12 great-grand
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 22nd at the Phelps Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 23rd at 1:30 p.m. at the F.C. Hill Memorial Wesleyan Church in Miltonvale, KS with Reverend Mark Surbrook officiating.
Burial will be conducted at the Miltonvale Cemetary, Miltonvale, KS.
