Nevadeane “Deanie” Olson died Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Windsor Estates Nursing Home, Salina. Deanie was born July 24, 1928 in Kipp to Martin and Mary (Stephen) Keeler.
She graduated from Kipp High School in 1946 and began working as a bank teller in Salina.
On September 5, 1948, Deanie married Harry E. Olson.
Deanie was a homemaker for several years and then worked in public schools, banking and served as the manager for the Saline County Fair.
She was an active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Lions Club, and other community organizations. Deanie enjoyed playing cards, traveling and all family gatherings.
Deanie was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Olson; her son, Jeff Olson; her daughter Joy Patrick; brothers A. E. “Gene”, Melvin, Melford, Marion, Herb and a sister Lola Mae Luther.

6 great grandchildren: Andrew, Daniel, Ethan, Grant, Braylon, and Amaya

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon, October 6, 2013 at St. Johns Lutheran Church (302 S. 7th St.) in Salina, Ks.
A private family inurnment will be held prior to the service.
