Vesta McCammon - Dillinger passed away on September 3, 2013 in Jewell County Hospital Long Term Care. She was born on June 19, 1018 in Esbon KS; the daughter of Will and Rosa (Morrow) Beam.

She married Rodney Keith McCammon on August 18, 1939 in Wichita KS. After his death she married Sidney C. Dillinger on July 19, 1000; he also preceded her in death in 2008.

Vesta served on numerous church and county committees: FFA, Extension Council, United Methodist Womens, Bide-a-Wee Club, VFW Axillary, and an honorary member of the Mankato Garden Club.

She was a family lady, enjoyed her flowers, crafts, reading and was always ready to travel. She taught knitting for the extension department and judged knitting and crocheting at area county fairs. She was a member of the Harmony United Methodist Church.

Vesta is survived by -
Daughter: Barbara (William) Thomas of Mankato,KS
Sons: Ronald (Charlene) McCammon of Snohomish, WA
Paul (Kelli) McCammon of Spring, TX

She was preceded in death by husbands, Rodney Keith McCammon and Sidney Clyde Dillinger; father, Will Beam; mother, Rosa Beam.

Funeral Services will be at Harmony United Methodist Church in Mankato KS on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 2 pm with Pastor Thaddeus Hinkle and Pastor Rollan Dillinger officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Mankato, KS.

Memorials may be made to the Harmony United Methodist Church or Jewell County Hospital, Long Term Care Activities Fund; both in Mankato KS.

Visitation is from 9 am - 8 pm Thursday at Melby Mortuary, 402 N High Street in Mankato, KS.
