Larry G. Hood
Larry G. Hood, was born to Edwin and Zelma Pauline (Strader) Hood on August 30, 1962, at Charleston, Illinois, and died July 19, 2013, at the Jewell County Hospital, Mankato, Kansas, after a short illness at the age of 50 years.
Larry attended school at the New Castle Elementary School in New Castle, Colorado and high school at Rifle High School in Rifle, Colorado. He then served in the United Sates Air Force. After his military career, Larry worked for many people including Rose Pork Producers of Ionia, Kansas, and was working with Jerry Ells of Mankato, as a carpenter.
Larry married Lisa Long, and they later divorced.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Zelma Pauline.

A memorial celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Christian Church, Mankato, Kansas, with Pastor Thaddeus Hinkle officiating.
Military honors will be presented by United State Air Force Honor Guard from McConnell Air Force Base, Wichita, Kansas.
Inurnment will be at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery, Oakland, Illinois.
