Russell Allen Gericke
Russell Allen Gericke, 53, was born June 12, 1960 in Ft. Collins, CO. He passed away Thursday at his home in Jewell, with family in attendance, following an extensive battle with cancer.
Russell married Susan Kanekeberg on May 29, 1982 in Lakewood, CO. To this union two children, Angela and Benjamin, were born. Russell and Susan later divorced.
He married Robyn Geyer on May 24, 2004 in Bailey, CO. They moved to Beloit KS in 2005 and purchased a home in Jewell in July 2011.
Russell was an assembler for Sunflower Manufacturing in Beloit, KS.
He enjoyed bird watching as well as arts and crafts. He made beaded bracelets to occupy his time during his cancer treatments and completed decoupage projects. He enjoyed collecting and would display Coca-Cola items, Hot Wheels and Coins.
Russell was preceded in death by paternal step-grandparents, Austin and Florence Anson; maternal grandparents, Frank and Christina Campbell.

Memorial Services will be on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 3 pm at Calvary Bible Church, 99 W. Pearl St. in Jewell, KS with Pastor Wayne Feigal officiating.
Memorial funds may be directed to the family, donated to the American Cancer Society in Russells name or to the Calvary Bible Church in Jewell.
