John H. Coleman, 85, of South Hutchinson, passed away July 27, 2013. He was born in Topeka, KS, July 16, 1928, to Dewey and Freda Wilhelmina (Snook) Coleman.

John married Loretta (Bell) Coleman in 1953.

John served as a medic in the US Army for six years. After his military career, John worked as an electrician until he retired. In his spare time he loved to hunt and fish.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by -
Daughter: Sylvia Diane and Thomas Edward Owen of Hutchinson, KS
Sister: Wilma Stilley of Washington, NC
Niece: Carol Michael of Strasburg, VA
Nephew: Raymond Stilley of Winston-Salem, NC
Several great-nieces and newphews

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30, from 4 to 8 pm, at Ryan Mortuary.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 31, at 10 am at the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Culver, KS.

Memorials may be made to ASPCA, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
