Robert J. Hagmeier
Robert J. Hagmeier, 82, of Salina died Saturday, July 20, 2013. He was born January 11, 1931 in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Charles and Catherine (Weirather) Hagmeier.
He worked as a printer for the Salina Journal for thirty-four years, assistant pro at the Salina Municipal Golf Coarse, and national sales manager for Power Ad Company, Salina.
He coached at Sacred Heart Jr/Sr High, Kansas Wesleyan University and was member of St Marys Catholic Church, life member of the VFW post 1432, Knights of Columbus, American Legion post 62 and life member of the DAV.
Mr. Hagmeier served with the US Army during the Korean War. Military citation awards include, Purple Heart, OCC medal, Combat Inf.
Badge, KSM W/4 Bronze Stars, Silver Star W/2 Palsms, ROK Presidential Unit Citation, Occupation of Japan, Honorable Discharge.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse Evelyn, a grandson Christopher and a brother Raymond.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the Ryan Mortuary with Vigil Service at 6:30.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at St Marys Catholic Church with burial in the Roselawn Cemetery, all in Salina.
Memorials are to the St Marys Grade School Endowment or Hospice of Salina.
