For the second year in a row, Salina will again ring in “Noon Year’s Eve.”

The Bicentennial Center, Salina Parks & Rec, and the Salina Area United Way will be hosting their second annual “Noon Year’s Eve” event on Thursday.

“Noon Year’s Eve” is a free event for the family. It will feature music, activities, a bouncy house, face painting, and more. Salina Liberty football players and xWe professional wrestlers will be signing autographs. The Salina Public Library will be passing out clappers.

There will be free chicken nuggets and carrots for the first 300 kids 12 and under, courtesy of Walmart.

At noon there will be a balloon drop followed by a milk and cookies toast to ring in the New Year.

“We are excited to partner with Salina Parks & Rec and Salina Area United Way to put on this free family friendly Event,” said Bicentennial Center General Manager Ron Rideout. “We are excited to bring this event back for a second straight year for families to celebrate the New Year together.”
