A bullet travels through three apartments on Chapel Ridge after a pistol accidentally discharges.

Braxton LeDuc, 23 of Salina contacted police after his 9mm handgun fired accidentally while he was cleaning the weapon in his apartment at 2363 Chapel Ridge on Wednesday night around 8:30pm.

Police say the bullet traveled through a shared wall and into the adjacent apartment flying through a kitchen and bathroom wall – before exiting the building and smashing a window on the apartment building next door.

Fifty-year-old Doug Asbridge came home from church a short time later to find his window broken and the bullet lying on his bedroom floor.

No one was injured in the incident and LeDuc was not cited in the case.
