No Arrests In DUI Check Lanes

A couple of DUI check lanes conducted by Salina Police leading up to the Independence Day Holiday weekend resulted in no drunk driving arrests.

According to Salina Police, on July 2nd from 11:15 PM – 12:15AM July 3rd, officers conducted a DUI check lane in the 300 block of Marymount Road. There were 22 vehicles that came through the lane.  One driver was evaluated, and one driver was given a preliminary breath test. There were no arrests at this location.

On July 3rd from 1:00AM – 2:10AM, officers conducted a DUI check lane in the 1800 block of South Ohio. There were 40 vehicles that came through the lane.  One driver was evaluated, and one driver was given a preliminary breath test. There were no arrests at this location either.
