The country rock band who loves to go “Fishin in the Dark” is headed for the spotlight on stage at the Stiefel Theatre this spring.

Jane Gates, Executive Director of the Stiefel tells KSAL News that The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is coming to Salina and will perform a live concert Thursday, June 2nd.

The band is celebrating its 50th anniversary and is known as a catalyst in the American music scene for five decades with songs like “Mr. Bojangles” and “Make a Little Magic.”
