Night with the Yotes Coming in August

They will be howling at the moon next month during the 6th Annual Night with the Yotes at the Bicentennial Center.

“It started out six years ago with just some coaches trying to do something at the end of the year to have some fun and to raise a little money and get the community involved,” said Kansas Wesleyan University Athletic Director Mike Hermann.

Hermann joined in on the KSAL Morning News Friday with a look ahead at the event that has been growing since.

“It’s been great and the last two years we’ve had 500 plus people there.”

The event scheduled for Saturday, August 20th at 5:30pm will include a dinner, live and silent auctions plus time with coaches, student-athletes plus a chance to reunite with KWU alums.

Individual tickets are $45, while a table of eight is $360.

Funds raised go directly to benefit KWU athletics and helps offset expenses such as equipment purchases and meal costs when the dining hall is closed during breaks.
