New Principal At Salina South

A new principal is set to take over at Salina South High School.

According to USD 305, Curtis Stevens will be the new South High School Principal effective July 1, 2014.

Stevens has been a public educator for over 12 years, most recently serving as assistant principal at South High School since the fall of 2013. Prior to this he served as assistant principal at South Middle School for six years and before that Stevens was a social studies teacher at South for five years.

Stevens earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Fort Hays State University, a master’s in Arts in History from the same and a master’s in Educational Administration from Emporia University.

The principal position at South opened after Linn Exline accepted the position of Executive Director of School Improvement at Salina USD 305.
