Nebraska Felon Arrested in Salina

A Nebraska man is facing numerous charges after allegedly pointing a shotgun at a car full of people.

Police arrested 51-year-old Edward Swisher, of Hubbell, Nebraska on Saturday afternoon – after three people had an encounter with him at the Pump Mart on North 9th.

The group was fueling their vehicle when Swisher allegedly swung a shotgun about waist high at them and asked if they knew the location of another person.

Salina Police were able to locate Swisher driving in the area a short time later and arrested him on a charges of aggravated assault, DUI, driving on a revoked licence and possession of a firearm by a felon.

No one was injured.
