Deputies with the Saline County Sheriff’s Office worked multiple crashes over the holiday weekend.

Sheriff-elect Roger Soldan tells KSAL News that 17-year-old Desiree Guebara of Salina was injured on Thanksgiving Day, after she lost control of a 2004 Chevy Impala sedan on K140 and State Street.

Deputies say she became distracted while driving, left the roadeway and hit a tree. She was transported to the hospital with neck pain.

A 21-year-old Salina woman was taken to the hospital on Thanksgiving Day after a rollover crash on Ohio near Farley Road at about 6:30pm.

Deputies say Alisha Walters was ejected from the vehicle after she lost control of a 1994 Nissan Quest minivan on the gravel road and rolled twice.

Authorities say she was complaining of stomach pain and the right side of her face was swollen. A motorist stopped to check on her and called for help.

A woman from Gypsum and a 9-year-old passenger were hurt in a crash Sunday morning.

Sheriff-elect Roger Soldan tells KSAL News that 25-year-old Karissa Burge and 9-year-old Aryana Burge were both injured after Karissa swerved to miss a deer while she was driving eastbound on K-4 just west of Niles Road.

The 2001 Nissan Pathfinder rolled in the north ditch, both occupants were hurt and transported to Salina Regional Health Center by personal car.
