More Record Warmth Expected

As a winter storm shuts down much of the east coast, Kansans will enjoy another day of record high temperatures,

According to the National Weather Service, highs Tuesday across the entire area will be 20 to 30 degrees above normal as they top out in the 60s and 70s.

On Monday both Salina and Wichita set record high temperatures. A high ot 71 in Salina broke the record of 70 set back in 1951. In Wichita a high of 74 broke the record of 69 set back in 1953.

Another mild day of temperatures in the 60s is expected again Wednesday, before things become more seasonal on Thursday with highs in the 40s.
