Mini Bike, Go Kart Stolen

Salina Police are investigating a residential burglary and theft that dates back to last month.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, someone forced open a detached shed at a home in the 400 block of N. 13th, sometime between September 1st and September 30th and stole a Honda CR 50r mini bike valued at $250.

Police say a 2-seater go kart was also taken.

The crime was not reported to police until October 15th.

Total loss and damage is listed at $500.

Evidently did not mean anything if it was stuck in a shed and not touched for 45 days.

How could they not hear something going on? These are not small items that a crook can pickup and run with like a watch.
