Meth Found During Arrest

A Salina man discloses a homemade pocket in his pants – full of meth during his arrest.

Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that a deputy was serving two failure to appear warrants to 30-year-old David L. Garrett on Tuesday evening.

After putting the handcuffs on Garrett the deputy asked him if there was anything in his pant’s pockets he did not want to take with him to the jail.

Garrett then revealed an extra pocket sewn into his jeans that was holding 1-gram of methamphetamine in a plastic baggie.

He’s now facing multiple drug charges as well.
