A couple from McPherson, Kansas died Friday after a crash in southwest Missouri, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

It happened at about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Missouri State Highways 13 and 248 in Reeds Spring.

According to the report Richard Blubaugh, 66, and his wife Dorothy Blubaugh, 60, ran a stop sign going eastbound in a Toyota Camry, and were struck by a southbound Dodge pickup truck. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

All three occupants in the pickup were rushed to area hospitals for treatment.

The accident is under investigation.
