Manhattan Bank Robbed

A Manhattan bank was robbed late Wednesday morning.

According to the Riley County Police Department, at about 10:20 AM officers responded to a reported robbery at the Sunflower Bank located at 2710 Anderson Ave. There were no weapons used during the robbery.

Officers were told that a white male standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a larger build and facial hair demanded money from the bank. The suspect was wearing dark color clothing, a ball cap, glasses, and a dark color backpack.

Detectives with the Riley County Police Department are now asking for the public’s help in solving this crime.
