Man Hurt In Motorcycle Crash With Deer

An Abilene man is hurt in a motorcycle crash involving a deer.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 52-year-old Mark Longbine was riding a 2096 Harley Davidson motorcycl headed south on a highway in rural Clay County. He collided with a deer in the road.

Longbine, who was wearing a helmet, was hurt. He was transported by EMS to the hospital in Clay Center.

The crash happened at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon, four miles north of Clay Center on K 15 Highway.
