Man Hurt In Moped Crash

A man is hurt in a single vehicle moped crash east of Salina Sunday evening.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Samuel Branham was riding a 2008 JCL moped on Old Highway 40. He lost control and crashed in the middle of the road.

Branham was transported to Salina Regional Health Center.

The crash happened at 8:25 Sunday evening a mile east of Salina on Old Highway 40.

Mopeds weren’t built to do 55 and over. Buy a real motorcycle if you wish to go out on the real highways.
