Man Arrested after Disturbance Call

Suspicious behavior leads to an arrest.

Salina Police were called to a home in the 900 block of North 13th Street at about 10:45pm on Tuesday, after neighbors heard yelling from inside.

Officers interviewed the owner and were leaving the residence when they saw a man walking in the area.

Officers identified themselves as they illuminated the man with a flashlight.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, 31-year-old Edward Hudson was holding a marijuana bong in one hand and a billiards ball in the other.

Police say he then cocked his arm as if he was going to throw an 8-Ball at police.

Officers told him to stop. Hudson complied and was arrested on charges of aggravated assault of two law enforcement officers, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
