A Salina man is arrested after a woman calls her mom for help.
Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that deputies arrested 21-year-old Allen J. Marlow on Tuesday after an interview with a 26-year-old female victim.
The woman had multiple bruises on her face, arms, legs and ribs after she was allegedly beaten by Marlow – at one point she said he hit her with a crowbar.
Deputies say the assault began Sunday around 3am while the two acquaintances were in a truck at a friend’s house in the 400 block of N. Holmes Road.
The woman called her mother for help after Marlow punched her again Tuesday afternoon in a room at the Budget King Hotel on N. Broadway.
He’s now facing multiple charges that include aggravated battery, criminal threat and aggravated kidnapping.
