Man Accused Of Goodwill Theft

A man is arrested after allegedly stealing items for the Salina Goodwill store and then selling them.

Police say that back on June 13th two aluminum ramps were stolen from the Goodwill Store at 2640 Planet Avenue. On June 14th, the stolen ramps were sold to Salina Iron and Metal at 312 North 5th Street.

The ramps were valued at $500. They were sold for $48.

Police arrested 34-year-old Matthew Brown on Wednesday in connection with the crime. He could face charges that include theft, theft by deception, and making a false writing.
