Liquor Store Sells To Minor

One Salina store has been cited for selling alcohol to a minor in a sting by the Saline County Sheriff’s Office.

On Saturday, July 12th the Sheriff’s Office administered a controlled alcohol buy.

Working with the Alcoholic Beverage Control department, one male under the legal drinking age and one female minor entered into 27 establishments with one successful attempt made to buy alcohol.

According to Sheriff Glen Kochanowski, a clerk at Perry’s Liquor, 1001 E. Crawford, sold alcohol to one of the minors.

The clerk was issued a citation for the transaction.
