Large Crowd Was Well Behaved

While the crowd may have been large at the Festival Jam in Salina Thursday night, the problems were not. Police say that there were no major incidents during the event, and that no arrests were made.

Only one arrest was made during a DUI check lane afterward the concert. Officers on routine patrol made two other DUI arrests.

Saline County Sheriff Deputies are mobilizing Friday night. As part of the Kansas Department of Transportation’s Impaired Driving Deterrence Program, deputies will be conducting a checkpoint. It will be held late Friday into early Saturday.
