Jewelry, Tools Stolen

Salina Police are investigating two unrelated burglaries.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney someone entered a garage at a home at 1430 Beverly sometime between 7pm Monday evening and Wednesday morning at 7:30am and took various items.

Police say a Poulan gas powered pruner, Trek 3-wheel bike and an antique meat grinder were removed. The thieves also stole numerous tools and camping items that had been organized for a garage sale. Total loss is listed at $804.

 

Thieves also broke a window to enter a home in 800 block of Seneca on April 6th and stole over $2, 600 worth of jewelry.

Police report that a diamond shape diamond pendant, 18 karat white gold rosary cross pendant plus a Cuban gold 18 karat chain were stolen along with a PlayStation 4 remote control unit.

Loss and damage totals $2,916.
