Jail Search Leads to Additional Charges

A Salina woman who was already in custody on charges of 1st Degree Murder is now facing additional charges for possession of drugs inside the jail.

According to Investigator Jeremiah Hayes with the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Amber Craig is facing charges for possession of drugs after a small baggie of amphetamines was found inside her cell that she was sharing with two other women.

Deputies say information led to an early Sunday morning search inside a cell occupied by Craig and 21-year-old Paige Swank and 35-year-old Abigail Zugg.

Deputies found a baggie full of a white powder substance during the 3am search on Sunday. All three have now been separated and both Swank and Zugg will face additional drug charges.

Amber Craig is tied to the murder of 32-year-old Adonis Loudermilk in the parking lot at the Starlite Motel on April, 26th.

Investigators say Craig and 21-year-old DiAntre Lemmie are both accused conspiring to use a gun to rob Loudermilk, robbing him of cash, and in the process of committing the robbery killing him.
