Police and EMS respond to a Salina home after a baby is found unresponsive.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, officers and EMS responded to a 911 call from a north Salina home Monday evening just after 6pm.

Police say a 4-month old baby girl was found unresponsive by a family member who went to check on her in her bed.

The infant was pronounced dead at Salina Regional Health Center.

Investigators believe there was no foul play in the infant’s unattended death.
