Freezing temperatures and a light drizzle Friday morning played a role in 15 motor vehicle accidents in Salina and around Saline County.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that police officers worked 5 accidents between 5am and 8am – while deputies with the Saline County Sheriff’s Office reported 10 crashes in the county.

Some occupants required medical attention and were transported to Salina Regional Health Center.

Non of the injuries were considered serious.
