A gun is stolen from an unlocked truck.

Salina Police are investigating the theft of a Browning BAR .7mm rifle from a 1997 Ford F150 that was parked in the 1300 block of Prospect.

Police say the rifle was outfitted with a scope as well when someone stole the pair sometime between midnight on Sunday and 8am Monday morning.

The rifle and scope are valued at $1,000.
