The hotel thief that has stolen money from Salina hotels strikes for the third time in two weeks.

The Howard Johnson motel located at 222 East Diamond Drive was victim again last night as an employee was in the manager’s office when he heard noises from the lobby. When he returned to the lobby, he saw a 6’0 Hispanic male who he believed to be in his 30’s wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “ATLANTA” printed on the back. As soon as the man was spotted, he took off out the lobby door.

Captain Mike Sweeney of the Salina Police Department says that the Department believes this is the same suspect from the earlier Howard Johnson robbery and Days Inn robbery that took place on Saturday.
