A purse is stolen during a fashion show.

Salina Police are investigating after a Coach brand purse and its contents are stolen from a table at the Ambassador Hotel, 1616 W. Crawford, on Sunday afternoon.

Morea Charvat of Marquette told officers that she was attending a fashion show and placed her black leather bag on a table during the event.

Police say the bag which is valued at $450 also had eyeglasses, a cell phone and other personal items inside.

Total loss is listed at $1,000.
