The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary east of Salina.

Deputies were sent to the 300 block of South Morris Road on Friday afternoon after someone entered a home and removed numerous guns and jewelry pieces.

According to Lt. Brent Melander, at least 4 shotguns and a Weatherby .25-06 bolt action rifle were taken.

Deputies say a Rolex watch was stolen as well as a gold jewelry collection with diamonds.

Lt. Melander tells KSAL News that there was no sign of forced entry.

The case is still being cataloged and the loss may range from $15,000 to $30,000.
