A fisherman finds a gun and now the Saline County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the owner.

Undersheriff Roger Soldan is hoping the owner of a 9mm Glock, Model 19 handgun will stop by his office to verify the serial number of a gun found on the Smoky Hill River bank on Wednesday.

Deputies recovered the gun under the bridge in the 2400 block of E. Water Well Road.

Undersheriff Soldan says the gun was not loaded.
