Fund Established For Woman Who Was Shot

A fund has been established for a Salina woman who was shot by her estranged husband earlier this month.

Back on August 7th, a 38-year-old man shot his estranged wife, and also a neighbor who came to her aid, before then turning the gun on himself and committing suicide. Both the woman and neighbor survived the shooting.

First Bank Kansas has established an account to help the woman, and her family. According to the bank, the fund will help her, and her children, with expenses such as housing and other needs, as they are now displaced due to the incident. They have a long road ahead of them, and any help would be appreciated.

The fund is under the JPKE Fund. Any donations to this fund would be appreciated. Citizens can make a donation at any First Bank Kansas and will just need to reference the account name.
