Frigid Temperatures To Return

Only a matter of days after record setting warmth, bone-chilling cold is on the way.

According to the National Weather Service, much colder air will overspread the area, with low temperatures Sunday night into Monday dropping into the single digits and low teens. Wind chills will be even lower, dropping just below zero for several hours very early Monday morning.

Windy conditions are ushering in the cold, with gusts in the 40 and 50 mile per hour range.

A quick rebound, with temperatures in the 50s, is expected for Tuesday. But it won’t last long, with highs falling back into the 30s Tuesday and Wednesday.
