Salina police are investigating a check forgery case.

Police say that a bank reported the incident in early September. It was discovered that nearly $7,000 in pay checks had been fraudulently issued to Freddy’s fast food employees.

The company who issued the checks, JRI, handles all of Freddy’s paychecks company wide.
