A Salina woman is in police custody after she was arrested on warrant.

Tara Scales, 43, is charged with three counts of felony theft and four counts of misdemeanor theft.

Scales was an employee at KFC at 403 South Broadway where she stole deposits and change from the business safe in early April.

The total loss is $8,171.34.
