Salina Police Department is searching for a 1998 gold Ford Explorer with Kansas tags that was driving at dangerous speeds this morning on 9th Street.
The vehicle was spotted at 4:04 this morning driving eastbound on the 500 block of West North Street with tags that didn’t match the vehicle description. Police attempted to follow him as he drove south onto 9th when the suspect took off at speeds reaching 80 mph. Police ceased the chase when the vehicle crossed Crawford, deeming it unsafe to attempt to follow him.
