Firearms Stolen from Salina Home

Guns are taken from an unlocked safe during a residential burglary.

Salina Police are investigating after someone broke a window to gain access into a home in the 200 block of W. Republic sometime between 7pm Saturday and 10:30am Sunday morning.

Police report that two handguns, a Glock .10mm pistol and a Glock .45 were taken along with a 12-gauge Benelli pump shotgun.

Total loss and damage is listed at $1,200.

Unlocked safe? That’s another name for a paper sack. As we tell our other children, “If you can’t take care of your toys, you don’t deserve to have toys”.
