A fire prompts a brief closure of a Salina woodworking business.
According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Rural Fire District #2 responded to a fire Monday morning at 9:08 at Crestwood Cabinets at 601 East Water Well Road. The fire was in a compressor room.
Saline County Sheriff Captain Roger Soldan says that as a precaution the business was evacuated, and ended up closing for the day.
There were no injuries.
