A rollover crash kills a Saline County man.

Saline County Sheriff’s Office was contacted early Saturday morning after a passerby saw a truck damaged in a field off East K-4-Highway just after 6am.

Deputies say 30-year-old John Breen had been ejected from a Ford F250 pickup and was found dead at the scene.

Officers say the vehicle was eastbound in the 8600 block of East K-4-Highway when it rolled two or three times coming to rest on its wheels.

Authorities are awaiting results from an autopsy to determine if alcohol played a role in the accident. Deputies say several beer cans were found in and around the vehicle.

The crash happened on a stretch of highway between Gypsum Valley Road and Donmyer Road. Deputies reported that Breen was not wearing a seatbelt.
