Fatal Crash Murder Arrest

A driver involved in a crash that killed a Salina woman back in April has been arrested on murder charges.

According to Saline County Jail records, 33-year-old Patrick Driscoll was booked in on charges that include 2nd Degree Murder, DUI, and multiple traffic violations.

Back on April 27th Driscoll was involved in a head-on crash. At 4:26am, on North Ohio Street near Stimmel Road, he was driving a pickup truck headed south. He crossed the center line and struck head-on a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 55-Year-old Song Horton.

Horton later died at a Wichita hospital.

At the time the Saline County Sheriff’s Office said that they suspected alcohol played a factor in the crash.  Alcohol was found in Driscoll’s truck, and they were awaiting results from blood tests for alcohol consumption.
