Fatal Crash Murder Arrest

KSAL Staff - May 22, 2016 9:30 am

A driver involved in a crash that killed a Salina woman back in April has been arrested on murder charges.

According to Saline County Jail records, 33-year-old Patrick Driscoll was booked in on charges that include 2nd Degree Murder, DUI, and multiple traffic violations.

Back on April 27th Driscoll was involved in a head-on crash. At 4:26am, on North Ohio Street near Stimmel Road, he was driving a pickup truck headed south. He crossed the center line and struck head-on a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 55-Year-old Song Horton.

Horton later died at a Wichita hospital.

At the time the Saline County Sheriff’s Office said that they suspected alcohol played a factor in the crash.  Alcohol was found in Driscoll’s truck, and they were awaiting results from blood tests for alcohol consumption.

Why this guy? They did not arrest the lady that killed the guy on Crawford St a few years ago while making an illegal turn. Evidently she had connections to the county attorney’s office or paid someone off.
