Fast Cars on Father’s Day

From Best Work in Progress – to Best in Show, Dad’s Day at Rolling Hills Zoo promises plenty of chrome and cruisers to look at.

Vickee Spicer with the Zoo stopped into the KSAL Morning News with a look at Sunday’s event. “It’s neat to see it translating into generations,” she said.

“We have fathers and sons and grandsons that are entering cars.”

Spicer says over 150 vehicles in multiple categories will line the walkways for patrons to peruse and enjoy.

Spicer adds the event has grown over the past 15 years and they continue to groom the process. “We try to put the cars in groups now,” she said.

“It’s easier for the judges to look at all the trucks and cars and motorcycles if they are all grouped together.”

Owners can still enter their vehicle in Sunday’s Father’s Day Car Show by going online to www.rollinghillszoo.org
