Farm Shop Burglary

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a workshop burglary.

Undersheriff Roger Soldan tells KSAL News that thieves stole numerous pieces of high-end welding equipment from a farmstead located in the 7600 block of East North Street.

Owner Greg Martin told deputies he entered the shed to grab one of his air compressors and noticed it was gone.

A closer look revealed he was missing multiple items including a wire welder, welding torch, oxygen and acetylene tanks, cutoff saw, chain saw and more.

Soldan says someone entered the shop sometime between 6pm Monday and 3am Tuesday morning and stole $4,700 worth of equipment.
