A crop sprayer is destroyed by fire.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a crop sprayer on the lot at Straub International, 3637 S. 9th, caught on fire around 2am on Sunday morning.

Fire District # 2 responded to blaze which totally destroyed the sprayer that was on the property awaiting repairs.

Authorities say two tractors that were parked nearby were also damaged by the heat from the fire.

The sprayer is valued at over $100,000.
