Eyeglasses Bent in Burglary

Jeff Garretson - October 21, 2013 11:47 am

Police make an arrest after a property owner finds his chain link fence sold for scrap.

Salina Police are investigating a weekend burglary.

Officers were called to the Chapel Ridge Apartments, 2363 Chapel Ridge, on Sunday afternoon after the renter returned home to discover some of his items were stolen.

Investigators say there was no sign of forced entry but someone removed a 32-inch Samsung flat screen television plus a men’s gold ring with a tiger stone.

Police say it appears the burglars rummaged around throughout the residence – bending a pair of the man’s eyeglasses.
