An event to celebrate Salina’s public schools is planned. Organizers tell KSAL News that the public is invited to the event, which will be held this coming Thursday, July 13th, at Indian Rock Park.

Multiple events and activities are planned as part of the event. They include:

Free food, and drinks while supplies last from 4:00 – 6:00 PM
Activities for all ages

Negotiation w/ the Salina USD 305 Board of Education for a new teacher contract area also planned to begin on that evening. They begin at 5:30 p.m., across the street from Indian Rock Park in the Salina USD 305 Board of Education offices in the board room.

The rally tocelebrate Salina’s public schools begins at 4:00 in the afternoon on Thursday, July 13th, at Indian Rock Park.
